As a founder and CEO of Sambodhi and more than 10 years extensive experience, Kultar has expertise in Project Management, Market Research and Advanced data analysis. Before initiating Sambodhi, Kultar has worked as consultant to different bilateral, multilateral agencies and corporate houses. Being a progenitor of various verticals of Sambodhi, Kultar has been personally involved in driving some of the best training and learning implementations in various corporates and institutes. He has authored several research papers. His most recent publication, a book titled "Quantitative Social Research Methods (Sage Publications)" has been widely acclaimed universally.
Swapnil is one of the founders of Sambodhi, where he leads both organic and acquisition-based new business launches. As a Qualitative research expert, he has worked with several research agencies before starting Sambodhi. With more than 10 years extensive experience in enterprise implementation, demand creation and international ventures, Swapnil has played a key role in positioning Sambodhi as a promising leader in project management consultancy and training in the global market place.
With over 14 years in-depth experience, Dharmendra is a professional trainer and project management specialist and a co-founder of Sambodhi. He has been associated with leading organizations and corporate houses for human and organization development on various functional management themes. He has been a leader in corporate training and development and has been at the helm of some of the best training methodology implementations across and outside the country as well. As an active member in corporate training industry, Dharmendra is a veteran of over 1500 trainings programmes using range of training methods.
With over 10 years of in-depth experience in finance, micro-enterprise development and project management, at Sambodhi, Nitin is designated to nourish innovations and anchor the Micro and consumer Finance Research and related training functions. He has over the years provided consultative support to numerous Microfinance Institutions on different operational and strategic imperatives. He is also responsible for working capital management, budgeting and treasury functions for Sambodhi Group.
Radhika has extensive knowledge and experience in the microfinance sector having been involved in a range of activities encompassing operations management, strategic research, capacity building and business advisory, while being part of leading NGOs, MFIs and consulting organizations. Her skills include diagnostic assessments, business planning, team and institution development and auditing.
Sahaniya, Founder & President, leads the Excella Orbit team. With more than 8 years cutting edge and strategic experience in Business Management, Brand Management, Corporate Communications, People Management, and developing & designing products & strategic services in financial services sector. Sahaniya has proven track record of setting up people´s management procedures, enhancement standards and implementing effective training modules in the corporate industry.In her role with Sambodhi, she drives the branding efforts, product launches and strategic plans.To date, Sahaniya has helped companies like HSBC, Way2Wealth, IL & FS, DCBL, FPSB India and SMC Wealth to develop and deploy enterprise-level interactive marketing strategies and best HR practices.
She is a commerce graduate from Delhi University and has done her Master´s in Management from Goa University.
Navneet has more than five years of experience in conceptualizing, designing, and executing different ethnographic studies. She is proficient in the area of demographic studies with special reference to issues related to reproductive and child health and family planning. Besides she has extensively remained involved in designing and conducting studies pertaining to the areas of health & nutrition, HIV/AIDS and water & sanitation. As a team leader she has contributed in planning and management of research projects that involved both quantitative and qualitative technicalities. Besides, she has knowledge of working with different analytical software like SPSS, EPI Info etc.
Navneet is a doctorate in Demography from Department of Anthropology (DU). During her academic career she has actively participated in various National conferences and seminars and presented research papers. Her research paper has been published in eminent journals and books. She has also been awarded ICSSR Doctoral Fellowship during the course of doctorate.
Binay Kumar is the Regional Manager of Sambodhi Research and Communication and is positioned at Bhopal. He is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the organisation, including programme planning, implementation, monitoring, and research related activities. He is in Sambodhi since July 2008. His professional career started in Kutch Nav Nirman Abhiyan (KNNA) with an innovative project - ‘SETU’, for the rehabilitation after earthquake in Gujarat. Later, joined SIRDI, Madhya Pradesh as a project manager where responsibilities laid initiate the development activities for the sponsored children and their families. In Rodic Consultant Pvt. Ltd. he contributed in planning and implementation of Resettlement and Rehabilitation Plan (RAP) of National Highway Authority of India in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya and Madhya Pradesh.
Binay Kumar holds post-graduate diploma from Xavier Institute of Social Service (XISS), Ranchi and masters in development studies from Institute of Social Studies (ISS), the Hague, the Netherlands.
Aparupa Negi is manager in Microfinance Connect, dedicated wing of Sambodhi providing quality service offerings to strengthen the microfinance sector. She has an in-depth understanding of microfinance operations and processes. She has more than 3 years of experience in working towards promoting entrepreneurship and micro-enterprise development. She specializes in providing project management and technical support in research and capacity building in microfinance spectrum, incubating services to client MFIs and promoting knowledge exchange within the microfinance sector through online networking website and media based events. Prior joining MFC, she has worked with consortium of Government and multilateral agencies on development, implementation and management of projects targeting empowerment of women and disadvantaged groups through employability linked sustainable income models.
By training Aparupa is a science graduate and have done her MBA from IIFM, Bhopal with specialization in Microfinance and Development management. She is innately skilled in liaison, networking and new business development.
Razdan Sarim Rahman is in the development sector for more than 5 years and has worked under various capacities as trainee, executive, researcher and teacher. His specific work areas are micro-credit; women empowerment; mother & child health etc. His key areas of interest are research; project cycle (including LFA) and participatory learning & action. He started his career with PRADAN and later joined Jamia Millia´s Social Work Department as guest faculty. He has free-lanced for agencies like UNICEF and IAMR as well. While with Sambodhi, he has worked on research projects for clients like Constella Futures, University of Bath and Birmingham, John Hopkins University, Hesperian Foundation, etc.
Razdan completed his secondary education from Don Bosco Academy, Patna. He graduated in Chemistry from AMU, Aligarh and post-graduated in Social Work from Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi. Currently he is pursuing PhD from the Social Work Department and is an ex-SRF of Indian Council of Medical Research.
Rebika manages the overall functioning of Lead The Action and is the nodal person in establishing alliances with consortium of agencies. She specializes in developing communication strategies, liaison and networking with community organization, corporate, media, bilateral and multilateral agencies. She has earlier being association with Internews and FORMEDIA and has played a pivotal role in communication projects funded by UNICEF, UNAIDS and European Commission. She has also worked extensively on health issues, with focus on HIV/AIDS and drug use in the North East India on projects funded by Bill & Melinda gates Foundation.
Rebika has a post graduate degree in political science, which has seen her actively being involved in advocating for public policies to empower the weak and the marginalized section of the society.
Kaushal Deep has over 3 years of experience in the Quality Assurance & Control and has been associated with the design and development of the business product & processes. He has hands on experience in design & deployment of various Management Information & Quality Management Systems. He not only has the knowledge of various issues in livelihood and rural development but also issues related to environmental management like climate change, CDM, risk management. His areas of interest include community based monitoring and evaluation systems and adaptive management techniques for development.
Kaushal holds B.Tech in Computer Engg. (I.T.) and an M.B.A. from Indian Institute of Forest Management. He has a skill in advance data analysis and understanding of various analytical software like SPSS,EViews etc and programming languages like Visual Basic,C++ etc.
Aatish is an expert in Environmental and Livelihood Management. He has in-depth understanding of Research and Project Management functions. During the course of his professional career, he has undertaken various quantitative and qualitative research studies focusing on M&E. He has worked with various international organizations such as ILO, Futures Group International, Care-India, UNICEF etc. As a resource person, he has conducted trainings of Developmental and Environmental Professionals on various Project Management and M&E tools. He is well versed with tools such as SPSS, GIS, Nvivo, AtlasTi and CS Pro.
He is a post graduate from IIFM, Bhopal with specialization in Environmental Management and Conservation & Livelihood management. He has actively participated in trainings organized by MPRLP, EPCO, LCA, INTACT-GTZ, Sewa Mandir (Udaipur), M.P. Urja Vikas Nigam, Byyraju Foundation, Rajasthan Forest Department, M.P. Forest Department etc. He is a recipient of the Budding Researcher´s Award-2009 at IIFM for the research paper focusing on Waste Management and Benchmarking.
Kamya Khanna is the front face of Excella Orbit, a wing of Sambodhi and involved in liaison, coordination and business development activities of the division. She manages and organizes the customized and tailored National & International training programmes of Excella Orbit. She leads the marketing department of the division, contributes in maintaining relationship with existing clients and developing new clientele. Prior joining Excella Orbit, she has worked as Audit Assistant in Trident Group of Industries.
Kamya Khanna is a commerce graduate and has done her MBA in Finance. She holds a Professional Certificate in Investment Banking from National University of Singapore.
Anish is primarily involved in liaison and networking in Microfinance Connect. He provides technical and operational support in various activities of MFC. He is the client interface and works incessantly towards increasing MFC website membership. He also works for business development and generating leads for diverse services provided by MFC. He specializes in website management and organizing training programs and events. His prior work experience has seen him involved in financial sector.
Anish is a graduate in Economics from Delhi University with specialization in International Trade, Econometrics, Statistics, Micro & Macro economics. His interest lies in using econometrics for developing sustainable business models for poverty alleviation.
